Peach Habanero Chicken Burger with Melted Provolone and Onion Rings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup peach habanero sauce
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup onion rings
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put breadcrumbs, peach habanero sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix in the ground chicken
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Warm up your grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat
The chicken patties should be cooked for 5 to 6 minutes on each side on a grill or pan until they are done and have a nice char
Add a slice of provolone cheese to each patty and cover it for the last minute of cooking
The cheese should melt
Warm the burger buns up on the grill or in a toaster until they are just barely browned while the burgers are cooking
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread mayonnaise
After the mayo, put a lettuce leaf on top of it and then a chicken patty with melted provolone
Add tomato slices and a bunch of crispy onion rings on top
To finish the burger, put the top half of the bun on top
