Chicken & Sugar Snap Pea Stir-Fry
A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender chicken slices with crisp sugar snap peas in a savory sauce. Perfect for a speedy weeknight meal packed with protein and veggies.
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sugar snap peas, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch
Set aside
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat
Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds
Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes
Add sugar snap peas to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and snap peas, stir well, and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly
Serve hot over cooked rice
